Hi, Although I'm not a hardcore techie guru, I have installed pickups both passive and active EMG set before with out any problems I having a small criss with this solderless set, first time installing this I'm putting them in a new Les Paul studio I just bought yesterday I have everything installed and I can get each invidivual EMG pickup to work with one volume and tone buy just pluging everything together with the battery and input jack so I know all the parts work.

But when I use the optionalB bus for two pups, two tones with 3 way toggle switching I get like low vol barely any gain and the middle position of the pup switch has no sound.

I have read and re-read the directions like 20x and watched the video on you tube from namm and spent like 3 hours debugging this to no avail. I punted for now and I am just rocking the bridge pup with one vol and one tone If I want to use the neck pup I have to jusy switch the plugs This crap should be so easy your grandma could do it??? I even went back to the store and had them swap out the B bus to make sure it was not broken or defective.

Also there was a red wire, a green wire, white wire, black wire and a yellow wire comming out of the hole in the control cavity. The green wire and the yellow were solded to the middle on the stock les paul "pot harness" thingy and the black one was also soldered near by in the center of the harnes as well.
