At the end of one minute, count how many Skittles have been correctly sorted. The person who had the most Skittles sorted is declared the winner once all turns have been had.
On the count of go, the player has one minute to take a straw, suck up a Skittle on the other end, and transfer it to the next plate. After everyone has had a turn, the person who transferred the most Skittles is the winner.
This game is almost exactly like the Spoon Scoop. You give each player two colors and they must fight to grab their colors out of the same bowl of Skittles. After one minute, whichever player has the most Skittles in their bowls is the winner. There are reasons why we want them to be kind and to be a good friend. Kind people make the world a better place, one smile, one door held open, one crayon shared at a time. Kindness is contagious and has a ripple effect.
I want them to be the kind of people who go out of their way to be considerate and helpful to those around them without expecting anything in return. My 2 and 3-year-old enjoyed it a lot even though some of my questions I had to help my two-year-old with.
Though the stories I was getting were funny. I think he was really starting to understand it. Everybody can take 5 or 1 of each color. Then go around telling how kindness for others made you feel or how you can show it to others with the corresponding color. After you answer the question you get to eat the Skittle, if you want. This Skittles Thankful Game is a fun simple game that is great for helping kids of all ages and really the whole family help think of all of the many things they have to be grateful for.
With Thanksgiving approaching quickly this is a wonderful game.
